I am finally getting around to sharing the last project I made for the Darice blog. One of the things I love about crochet is combining simple stitches to create different patterns. This scarf is made by using a couple of basic stitches, double crochet and chain stitches, to create a neat pattern.
The simple stitch pattern pairs nicely with the tweed yarn, black yarn with tiny specks of color. I chose to make a cowl style scarf but the way that this pattern is worked it would work just as well as a straight scarf or as a longer circle scarf. I was able to make this size with only one skein of yarn, you would need more if you chose to make a longer scarf.
You can find the free pattern HERE
