Every November I start to think a lot about gratitude and all of the things I have to be grateful for. I know I am not the only one who feels this way since that is also when all of the gratitude posts start popping up on Facebook and Instagram.
Sometimes it is easy to forget to be grateful as we are just trying to get through each day and the closer it gets to Thanksgiving the more we start to reflect on all of our blessings. That is one thing I love about this time of year, even though it can be so crazy and busy it can also be a time to step back a little and remember and recognize all of our blessings.
I recently made a series of designs that have a theme of kindness, I haven't shared them yet but I will. One of them is a circle that says Be Kind inside. As I was looking at that design the other day I had the idea to create a similar design that said Be Grateful instead. I thought it would be perfect for this month but also just a great reminder anytime to be grateful.
I will share more about the inspiration behind the kindness designs a little later but basically I just felt, especially as election day got closer and closer, that one thing we really need in the world is more kindness. People who treat each other with respect and kindness, regardless of whether they share the same political party, religious beliefs, lifestyle choices, or other aspects of their lives. There is so much hatred and unkindness in the world and I think sometimes we can all use a little reminder to be more kind.
I felt like we could all use a similar reminder to be grateful. We all have trials and struggles in our lives, often many of them unseen by other people, and sometimes it can be difficult to see past those hard parts of life. But each of us also have so many wonderful blessings in our lives and so much to be grateful for. Sometimes we just need to be reminded to look for it.
I cut my Be Grateful design out of gold iron on and pressed it onto a t-shirt but you could use it on anything you want. It would make a cute sign too.

Open the Design Space file HERE. Resize the design if needed to fit your shirt.
Cut the design from iron on, don't forget to mirror the design. Weed the design.
Use the EasyPress, I used the 9"x9" EasyPress 2, or an iron or heat press, to press the design onto your t-shirt.
