5 Little Monsters: 5 Mermaid Crafts

5 Mermaid Crafts

-This post may contain affiliate links-

Since I have shared a couple of mermaid patterns over the last couple of weeks I thought it would be fun to gather up all of the mermaid posts that I have shared over the years into one place.

So here are a few fun mermaid themed crafts, some crochet, a couple of t-shirts, and one bonus sewing/Cricut project that I made but have made and shared a picture of, but never shared a tutorial here on the blog, I will link to the tutorial I used and where you can get the pattern. Click on the title or picture to see the patterns and tutorials.

1. Crocheted Mermaid Doll

I felt like this mermaid doll needed to be number one on the list since it is actually a mermaid, not just a mermaid tail. This is probably one of my favorite doll patterns that I have made. I think she turned out really cute and at about 18 inches tall she is the perfect size for snuggling.

2. Mermaid Tail Pencil Pouch

Second on the list is this pencil pouch that I just shared a couple of weeks ago. I love the way the self striping yarn worked with this pattern.

3. Mermaid Tail Purse

This is my newest pattern and I made it to go along with the pencil pouch. This little child size purse is the perfect size to hold lots of little treasures.

4. Mermaid Life T-Shirt

This t-shirt is a quick Cricut project great for mermaid loving little girls. I used patterned and metallic iron on to make this shirt.

5. Always be a Mermaid Shirt

Always be yourself unless you can be a mermaid, then always be a mermaid. This shirt was made in preparation for a class I taught on slicing and knockout designs on the Cricut. It is a great project to help you master those techniques.

Bonus: Mermaid Doll

Last, I thought I would throw in this mermaid doll that I made in a class I went to at a Cricut convention. The class was taught by Kim from Sweet Red Poppy using a project available in Cricut Design Space. You can find the Design Space project HERE, and if you want more detailed instructions (as well as a few little changes) find Kim's tutorial HERE
