Day 2 of Dishcloth Week. Yesterday I shared the first of 5 new dishcloth patterns this week, The Single Crochet Mesh Dishcloth. Today I am sharing the second, The Bloque Stitch Dishcloth.
The Bloque Stitch Dishcloth uses double crochet stitches that are worked into skipped stitches from a previous row, rather than into the stitches directly below. This creates a neat, almost woven looking texture.
I think it looks great in both solid and variegated yarn. I think it can be tricky to find patterns that work well with variegated yarn but I really like the way this one worked up in the variegated yarn I used.
