For Diabetes Awareness Month I shared our story of my daughter's diagnosis earlier this year in my previous post. Today I wanted to share a couple of t-shirts I made for us to wear to spread awareness this month.
I have posted before about all of the Type 1 Diabetes designs that Cricut has available in Design Space. Shortly after Lucy's Diagnosis I stumbled upon them while searching for something else. I chose a few of the designs and made her some shirts. There are designs that say things like "Type 1 of a Kind" and "Type One-derful".
Today I chose to make a shirt for her, and one for me. For her shirt design I chose "Proud Owner of a Useless Pancreas". They also had designs that said "Full-Time Mom/Dad, Part-Time Pancreas" which I thought would go along well with her shirt, so I made the mom one for myself.
I love that they have these designs available. After Lucy was diagnosed I thought about coming up with designs and I was thrilled to find some already made. I may still come up with some of my own designs in the future but I really enjoyed these designs for now.
