Christmas Coasters with Infusible Ink

Christmas in July project number 2 is a Cricut project, a set of coasters made with Infusible Ink. I used the round ceramic Infusible Ink coaster blanks and buffalo plaid Infusible Ink transfer sheets to make a set of Christmas-y coasters. 

The designs with the words "All is Calm" and "All is Bright" were images available in Design Space. Silent Night is one of my favorite Christmas songs and when I saw them I knew I wanted to use them for some kind of project. They were intended to be used on pillows, but the shape of the design fit in a circle so I decided to use them on round coasters instead. 

For the others I just cut a circle slightly smaller than the size of the coasters. For these I chose a patterned Infusible Ink and let that be the design of the coaster. 

The Infusible Ink looks so smooth and shiny on the ceramic coasters. I think they would be perfect as holiday decor in your house, or add them to a gift basket with mugs and hot cocoa. 

How to Make Christmas Coasters with Infusible Ink

You will need:

• Cricut Maker or Explore
• Ceramic Coasters Infusible Ink Blanks
• Infusible Ink Transfer Sheets (Buffalo Plaid)
• EasyPress 2
• EasyPress Mat
• Butcher Paper
• White Cardstock

Instructions:

Open the Christmas Coaster Design Space File. 

Cut your designs out of Infusible Ink transfer sheets. Don't forget to mirror your design. 

Weed the designs.

Press following the directions in the Heat Guide. Press at 400 degrees for 240 seconds with a piece of cardstock under the coasters and a piece of butcher paper over the top of the Infusible Ink. 

Carefully remove the transfer sheet after the coaster has cooled.
