It has been a long time since I have made some new Perler Bead designs. I was putting together some email newsletters recently, last month for St. Patrick's Day and this month for Easter, and I was looking through projects I had previously made for those holidays so that I could share them. I had Perler Bead designs for both holidays and it made me think maybe it was time to make some more.
I wanted to come up with some designs that would work well for spring or summer and ended up deciding on a nature theme. I ended up with a mushroom, a flower, and a few animals.
There is a butterfly, a snail, a frog, and an owl.
Perler Beads are a fun craft for kids, and all of the designs are really simple. I make all of my designs to fit on a 14 x 14 peg square board. That seems to be a pretty standard size that comes in even the smallest Perler Bead sets.
How to Make Nature Perler Bead Designs
You will need:
- Perler Beads in a variety of colors
- Perler Bead Pegboard

- Ironing Paper
- PDF Pattern- Nature Perler Bead Designs
Instructions:
Follow the graphs to create the designs on the pegboard.
When finished cover with paper and press to melt the beads together. Remove from the pegboard, flip, cover, and press on the other side.
