Today is the last of the Harry Potter projects I will be sharing this month, of course it also happens to be the last day of the month. This time a Cricut project, a design that I used to make a t-shirt, but you could use it for anything you want.
I drew this design in my idea notebook last year when I was brainstorming some ideas to share for last year's Harry Potter projects and I never made it, so I decided to revisit it this year.
I made a simple Dumbledore's Army design with the words and a wand, with sparks coming out of the end of the wand. I wanted the sparks to be shiny so I used foil iron on for that part, glitter or holographic iron on would also work well. You could put it on a shirt like I did, or anything else you want, a bag, a canvas, etc. You can download the SVG design to cut out with any cutting machine.
How to Make a Dumbledore's Army T-Shirt
You will need:
- Cutting Machine (I used my Cricut Maker 3)
- Black Iron On
- Silver Foil Iron On
- EasyPress (or other heat press or iron)
- EasyPress Mat
- Blank T-Shirt
- Dumbledore's Army SVG
Instructions:
Download the Dumbledore's Army SVG and upload into your cutting machine design program.
Resize the design to fit your blank.
Cut the design out of iron on and weed. Don't forget to mirror your design.
Press the design onto your blank according to the time and temperature directions for the iron on you are using.
Peel off the liner.
