We have made it to day 4 of the Mini Amigurumi Advent and today's pattern is a sweet little Angel. She has a long white dress, wings, and a little halo around the bun on top of her head.
The little angel is about 5" tall, similar to some of the other designs. You will mostly need white yarn for this one, with a little bit of whatever color you choose for the skin and hair, and a tiny golden yellow color for the halo. I used plain white for both the dress and the wings, but I think it would be nice to use a white with either sparkly white or silver metallic thread twisted with it. I didn't have any of that in my stash while creating the angel so I just used what I had, and I think either way works great.
Just like the other designs in the series I used 6 mm safety eyes, but you could also embroider the eyes if you would rather do that. I stitched a little smile with pink embroidery floss to finish the face. The head and body are crocheted in one piece, with the arms, wings and hair made separately and sewn on at the end.
