You can make some cookies for Santa with todays Mini Amigurumi Advent pattern. Day 3 is a Christmas Cookie with frosting and sprinkles, and an optional little smiley face.
This is a super quick and easy pattern today. The cookie is kind of a flattened disc shape, but still worked in a 3D amigurumi style. It is lightly stuffed, and then a circle of frosting is sewn on top. The frosting has colorful stitches to make sprinkles, as well as the face added to it.
I chose to add faces to almost all of the designs that are part of this series, just because I thought they were cute and it gave me the look I was going for. Obviously for the designs that are people or animals the face is a little bit more important part of the design, but on others, like these cookies it is totally optional. If you choose not to add a face just leave that part off and cover the frosting with more sprinkles like I did with the red and green frosted cookies.
