These tiny hearts that I am sharing today are small enough to fit in the palm of your hand, or in your pocket, hence the name Pocket Size Puffy Hearts. They would be easy to turn into little ornaments or keychains too.
I made 2 different styles of hearts, one that was a little more tall and skinny, and one that is a little shorter and wider. These differences are made by changing up the number of increases in each round. You can leave them plain or add a little smiley face like I did on some of them.
Since they are pretty tiny, and all one color, they are great for using up scraps. I used different kinds of medium weight yarn that I had in my stash. You could really use any yarn you wanted, you would just need to adjust the hook size to fit the yarn you are using, and it would change the size of your finished hearts. Thinner yarn and a smaller hook would make super tiny little hearts, while thicker yarn and a larger hook would make bigger hearts.
The finished size of these hearts when made as written with medium weight yarn is about 2.5" tall and 3" wide for the wide heart, and 3" tall and 2" wide for the skinny heart.
