A few weeks ago I was at Micheal's and I saw some canvas tote bags with colored bottoms and I picked up a couple. I shared a summer tote bag that I made a few posts ago, but today I am going to share what I did with the second one.

I am excited to announce a new Mini Amigurumi Crochet Along- Summer 2023. It will be starting July 3rd, 12 new patterns will be released over the course of 2 weeks. One new pattern each day Monday-Saturday, with the last pattern released on July 15th.

When I am making a sewing or quilting project I typically lean towards prints, but lately I have been seeing lots of beautiful quilt blocks made with colorful solids and I have been wanting to make something with bright colored solids. My kids are always begging me to paint, it is one of their favorite craft projects, and although it can get a little messy I feel like it is one of the easiest to let them do. Especially when they have something specific to paint. If you are looking for a fun summer craft activity for kids this was a big hit with my kids.

For, I think, 4 out of the past 5 years I have participated in the Softie Crochet Along, and it is one of my favorite crochet alongs to participate in each year because stuffed animals/dolls are some of my favorite things to crochet.

A month or so ago I posted on both Facebook and Instagram asking for votes on what my next Mini Amigurumi Crochet Along will be. I had 4 different options to choose from, and I'm not going to say what won yet (although if you really wanted to know early you could look at my posts and probably figure it out), but an announcement will be coming very soon. One of the options was Ocean Animals, which didn't win, but it did come in second place.
