It is Day 10 of the Summer 2023 Mini Amigurumi Crochet Along. Today's mini amigurumi is one that has been asked about a few times, some of you have wondered if it would be included- a cozy little campfire.

Honestly, a campfire was a must on my list from the very beginning. I knew I couldn't do a camping themed crochet along without including a campfire. It is one of the first things that comes to mind when I think of going camping, sitting around the campfire, roasting marshmallows and hotdogs, talking and sharing stories.

This little campfire is made in several pieces. I wanted to include multiple colors, red, orange, and yellow, in the fire, and I wanted to have a few flames coming up. I did this by making the main portion of the fire red in normal stuffed amigurumi style, then surrounded that with some smaller flat "flames" in orange and yellow.

Then there are 4 log sections sticking out around the fire. Each one made separately and sew to the bottom of the fire. Just like the other pieces in the set, the little campfire has a smiling face sticking out between the flames.
