We are all the way to Day 9 of the Summer 2023 Mini Amigurumi Crochet Along. Three-quarters of the way through already, only 3 more days to go. Today we have another animal amigurumi, this one is a mini moose.

I went back and forth on whether I wanted to include a moose or a deer, because I wanted to choose only one or the other. I decided on a moose, but kept going back and forth until the last minute when I decided to stick with the moose. And I am glad I did because I think it turned out pretty cute.

The moose is made very similar to my other animals, with the same body and head pattern. It has antlers, ears, a nose, and legs sewn on.

I used a tan color for the body and a lighter tan for the antlers and hooves. They look different enough in person, but in the pictures there isn't as much contrast as I wish there was so if I were to do it again I think I would have either done a darker brown with the light tan antlers, or the tan body with a cream color for the antlers, just to give a little more contrast. Whatever you choose to do you will need two colors, one darker for the body, one lighter for the antlers.
