Today is Day 5 of the Fall 2023 Mini Amigurumi Crochet Along. It is crazy that tomorrow will already be halfway through. Today's Halloween amigurumi is a Cute Candy Corn.
The candy corn is probably one of the simplest in the set because it is all one piece. No little pieces to sew on like arms or legs. It is just a simple cone shape striped in white, yellow, and orange with a smiley face
Like the other amigurumi this one is small, only about 3" tall, although compared to the original version I guess it is kind of big so I don't know if it can really be called mini.
Because it is all made in one piece with just a couple of color changes it works up really fast. I went with the traditional white, orange, and yellow candy corn.
I feel like candy corn is one of those candies that you either love or hate, and I am on the hate side for sure, at least when it comes to eating them. But regardless of how you feel about the taste, I think everyone can get on board with a cute crocheted version.
