It is Day 12, the final day of the Little Dinos Summer 2024 Mini Amigurumi Crochet AlongSummer 2024 Mini Amigurumi Crochet Along. The last little dino in the crochet along is a little Pterodactyl.

I feel like if you have been following along with the crochet along you probably aren't surprised by this last dinosaur. It is one that I knew I wanted to include from the beginning and I feel like it is one that is typically included in dinosaur themed things, or at least some type of flying dinosaur whether it is a Pterodactyl, or a Pteranodon, or something else.

The little pterodactyl has a long, pointy beak type mouth, and a cone coming off the back of the head as well. It also has wings and little feet.

I only used one color for this dinosaur, I chose Coral for this one. I tried to use a different main color for each of the dinosaurs although some of the colors were also used as accent colors on other dinosaurs, like the Coral spikes on the stegosaurus. I typically always do my mini amigurumi crochet alongs with a variety of different yarns that I have on hand, kind of a stashbuster project, and that works really well and is definitely an option, but it was kind of fun this time to use a little bit more curated selection of yarns and the Red Heart Super Saver Yarn Kit worked out really well. It had enough of a variety of colors that every dinosaur was different, but still coordinated. And the small skeins meant that although I still have yarn left for sure, enough that I could probably make another set, I don't have as much as I would with regular size skeins.

Now that the final pattern has been released I will be releasing an ebook that will be available for purchase on both Etsy and Ravelry, it will include all 12 patterns in an ad-free, printable format for anyone who prefers that. All of the patterns will remain free on my website. I will share the link here as soon as the ebook is available, it will probably be a couple of days before I get it up. But in the meantime, and even after you can find all 12 patterns here on my website.
