Today marks the halfway point of the  Little Dinos Summer 2024 Mini Amigurumi Crochet Along. The pattern for today is Little Three-Horn, a tiny Triceratops.

The little triceratops is made in a similar shape to the stegosaurus, but it has a slightly longer nose to make room for the horn that goes there. It obviously has three tiny horns, the one on its nose and two more above its eyes, along with the little frill around its face. The 4 little legs are also made separately and sewn onto the body.

I used the same pastel multipack of mini Red Heart Super Saver that I have used for all of the dinosaurs, this time 3 different colors, the main color for the body, a contrasting color for the frill and then I chose to use white for the little horns. For the main color of the body I used the Baby Pink, for the contrasting color on the frill I chose Pale Yellow, and for the horns I used Soft White.

Halfway done, 6 down 6 more to go. Reminder there will be no new pattern tomorrow, but come back Monday for pattern number 7.

  1. I have been busy lately and have only just got to my email, and what a pleasant surprise it was to find your Little Dinos. I have a very young grandson, and a friend's son, who I know will absolutely love these. Thank you so much for sharing these, for free, with us. You are very talented, generous, and appreciated.
