I have one last printable Valentine card to share before Valentines Day get here in just a week. That makes 4 different cards designs/themes this year, plus several more from previous years. I was feeling like some of the stuff that I chose this year, like the bracelets and the flowers, might lean a little more towards appealing to girls so I wanted to make sure I had one that boys might be more likely to like and thinking of my 8 year old son video games seemed like the obvious answer.
I made a couple of different cards of this set, very similar to the flower cards. One card says "Our Friendship is Another Level" and the other says "Valentine, You've Got Game". Each one has a video game controller on it.
I looked around for some options that would be inexpensive little gifts that I could pair with the cards that would fit the video game theme and I ended up decided on some little video game squishies. I know my kids love little fidgets and squishies so I figured other kids probably would too. The box came with a variety of styles of controllers and other video game related designs.
Other things I found that you could use were things like game controller keychains that could be added to backpack zippers, rubber bracelets with video game sayings on them, or if you were willing to spend a little bit more you could get some mini game keychains that they can actually play games on.
All of my kids, boys and girls, love playing video games so I thought this theme would be a pretty big hit with the whole class.
